  • Struggle with People. We work with people 100% of the time-clients, contractors, and staff. If people‑focused work makes you cringe, please don’t apply.

  • Can’t Meet Deadlines. NN is a small agency; everyone depends on the work of others. If you’re unable or unwilling to manage your time to hit deadlines, we won’t be a good fit.

  • Communicate Poorly. Communication is the backbone of everything we do. If you can’t ask for help, share project statuses, or respond to messages, you will hate NN.


POSITION SPECIFICS

  • Level: Intermediate. This role is designed for candidates with 2–3 years of professional experience in video production, editing, and content creation. (Responsibilities, expectations, and pay scale will still flex based on demonstrated expertise.)

  • Location: Hybrid. You’ll work in our Lancaster City office at least 50% of your hours for collaboration and team meetings. (All interviews are conducted in‑person to ensure a great fit.)

  • Position Type: Part‑time, 20 hours per week, with a clear path to transition into a long‑term/full‑time position based on performance and business needs.

  • Compensation: Starts at $18 per hour (DOE) with eligibility for company profit share after the first 90 days.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Video Production Planning – Coordinate and plan video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, and organizing equipment to ensure smooth production.

  • Content Creation – Film, edit, and handle post‑production for video content across internal marketing initiatives and client projects, ensuring all deliverables align with brand standards.

  • Advanced Video Editing – Transform raw footage into polished deliverables; create motion graphics/animations, apply typography, color‑grade, and perform audio mixing to meet NN’s quality bar.

  • Team Collaboration – Work closely with producers, designers, and marketing strategists to align video output with project goals. Keep communication open to hit deadlines and maintain high standards.

  • Project Management – Track project milestones, manage timelines, and maintain organized file structures for effortless access and retrieval.

  • Marketing Support – Contribute to NN’s own marketing content (social, web, email) as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Experience: 2–3 years in video production, editing, or a related field with a portfolio that demonstrates strong creative and technical skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with professional camera systems (e.g., Blackmagic), lighting setups, audio capture, and post‑production in DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Descript (or comparable tools).

  • Creative & Design Skills: Solid grasp of storytelling, composition, typography, color correction, and motion graphics.

  • Marketing Mindset: Understanding of how video supports broader marketing strategies; ability to tailor content for multiple platforms (web, social, paid ads, podcasts, livestreams).

  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication; thrives in collaborative, cross‑functional teams.

  • Independence & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
